Minimum are a new independent skincare brand to enter the UK market in late 2020. They create affordable and effective products, with only the best blend of oils for the job.

We worked with Minimum from the very start of their business planning in Spring 2020, with full support through to their launch in November.

We’ve armed them with a brand and attitude ripe for the twenties and beyond. Ballsy, truly inclusive, and removing all references to harmful ‘improve yourself’ beauty standards.

When I first thought about starting my own business, I could not fathom the number of considerations that needed to be made with regards to brand and image. As far I was (naively) aware, I had developed a fantastic product and that was it – obviously minimum would be a success because the products were made with care, thought and were of the highest quality.

Naomi made me stop and think about the wider message and impact I wanted for my brand and the importance of getting that right from the start.

She did so much research into the field we could have in depth and constructive conversations about the products and technicalities. Naomi knew the main competitors before I had even mentioned them. Initially, I had a basic idea of logo and brand colours, but the initial ideas Naomi produced were so much more than I could ever have imagined. She even talked me though the ideas she had rejected and why. The back and forth has always been an honest and open conversation and something that has been so enjoyable, never hard work.

Working with both Ellie and Naomi on message and tone, felt like an excited conversation with friends on the same wavelength. Together we have struck the balance of informative message with a more approachable verbal style. What I have learned more than anything through the whole process is to trust in the professionals.

 

Both Naomi and Ellie have helped to mould the brand into so much more than I had dreamed.

Why we wanted to work with minimum

Not only does Emma (founder of Minimum) hold the same social values as us – equality, care for the environment, accessibility and inclusivity – her products are truly fantastic.

The ‘life-changing’ testimonials we received prove this alone, but Naomi and Ellie have also fallen in love with her product range (with neither of us really caring for a ‘skincare routine’ of any sort previously). We’re hooked.

We thoroughly enjoy working with Emma and the new brand. And will remain Minimums brand partner for many more exciting years to come.
